2 postes de doctorant à pourvoir à la Haute Ecole Arc Conservation-restauration
Dans le cadre du projet européen CHANGE – Cultural Heritage Analysis for New Generations – la Haute Ecole Arc Conservation-restauration, située à Neuchâtel offre deux postes de doctorant de trois ans (Septembre 2019 à Août 2022). Le poste “ESR 11 – materials analysis” peut intéressé un CR diplômé du Master. Les candidatures doivent être adressées à la HE-Arc avant le 15 février 2019.

– ESR11-Material analysis: this project focuses on the study of the formation of metal soaps on painted metal. The research team will develop a methodology based on multi-modal analyses for the assessment of the different factors related to the degradation processes.
– ESR15-Imaging Techniques: Imaging techniques will be used to detect and monitor in a non-invasive way either the early stage formation of oxide films and patina on historical metal artefacts or ageing of a superficial varnish covering them in combination with existing invasive techniques such as electrochemical / spectroscopic studies and examination of materials on cross-sections.
